Ylona Garcia is turning 18 this year.
And among her goals is to earn a college degree.
What does she plan to pursue?
"I was actually thinking of Psychology, but my mom actually heard me say that two years ago, she started taking Psychology herself," Ylona told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at the Toblerone holiday launch event on December 2, 2019.
Ylona is inspired by her mom's attitude toward learning, "She loves studying. She loves learning new things, and I admire her for that."
One of her options is to study in New England, Australia, but Ylona plans to pursue her college degree online instead.
"It's really hard to to balance it all. Super hard," the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate said, pointing out that studying online would be the best set-up for her busy schedule.

Meanwhile, Ylona feels 18 is still "a very young age," and that 21 is more "life changing."
She told PEP.ph in the same interview, "I'm grateful I feel that. I don't feel old just yet. Enjoy while you're young. Have fun! Do what you love!"
Over the weekend, Ylona released a teaser for her upcoming 18th birthday bash.
The young Kapamilya talent channeled retro glamor in her pre-debut video shot by Nice Print Photography.
Ylona is celebrating her birthday on February 28.
