Not one to stay idle, young singer Ylona Garcia has been keeping herself busy back home in Sydney, Australia.
The 18-year-old former Pinoy Big Brother teen housemate has been trying new things, and is now working for a fast-food eatery in Bonnyrigg, a suburb 36 kilometers west of Sydney's central business district.
On Monday, August 31, 2020, Ylona uploaded on Instagram a selfie showing her clad in her service-crew uniform.
She wrote, "hey y’all, i decided to work at @mcdonaldsau :)) feel free to come thruuu && i’ll serve you xx"
R&B Prince Jay-R and Kadenang Ginto actress Raine Salamante were the first among Ylona's celebrity friends to cheer the singer on in her latest adventure.
Jay-R commented: "Get it lil Homie!!!!"
Raine was upbeat: "OH MY GOD THERE SHE GOES"
Ylona decided to return to Australia with her family last July.
On July 1, she uploaded her photo at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, writing simply: "bye po."
Before she left, Ylona spent much of her free time during quarantine playing the piano and violin.
She also wrote songs and, in fact, finished at least 20 singles within two months of isolation.
She told MYX Philippines, "Ngayon, songwriting has been really going in full circle because I only have time for myself.
"Before when I realized I love songwriting, it was something that I did not really do on a daily basis kasi I have work, I have other schedules."
Ylona also enrolled in an online business class, did yoga, and helped with household chores. Busy lady.
