MEET PAWIBOY
Sharon met Pawiboy in Olongapo.
In an Instagram post on March 16, 2021, she asked her Instagram followers to help her find the dog she had seen during the locked-in shoot of Revirginized, her upcoming movie with Marco Gumabao.
Sharon wrote in her description of the dog, "Ito po yung Aspin na pinapahanap ko sa Olongapo, sa saradong beach resort na set namin ko siya nakita. Sana talaga inuwi ko na siya. Napakasweet.
"May sakit sa balat at halos sumara na mga mata sa muta. Baka may makakilala sa inyo sa Olongapo. Malambing ang asong ito sa akin di ko makalimutan. Sana makita sya. [emoji]"

The next day, March 17, the actress-singer shared the good news that the dog has been found, and she promised she would treat him like a "prince."
Part of her caption read: "You are safe now, baby boy. Mama’s here now and I will love you...I will make the rest of your years happy and you will NEVER have to search or beg for food again or a place to sleep where you would feel safe...never have to panic to seek shelter from the rain and other elements...
"You will become a PRINCE and be loved like you’ve never been loved before!
"I love you. I fell in love with you the moment we met and I should have brought you home right then. But all will be well now. All IS well now!
"I cannot wait to see you again and this time hold you and love you!"
Sharon also named the dog after Marco's role in the film.
She continued, "And do you know what your name will be? You will be PAWI!!!
"Because I met you where Pawi @gumabaomarco and I were filming! You are special. Your age doesn’t matter to me. My love for you does.
"You’ll be home soon, Pawi boy! Hang in there! The good doctors will take good care of you. And then...you’ll see just how much Mama will love you! Praise God. Thank You Jesus!"

In another update she posted on March 19, 2021, Sharon said her rescue dog is currently being cared for by Jervy Castillo of The Homeless Dog Shelter in Subic.
Pawiboy will have to receive treatment, which may take at least four to five months.
She wrote, "He is on meds for Ehrlichia and Heartworm. According to Jervy, Pawiboy’s skin may start clearing up in a week... but treatment for his Heartworm may take 4-5 months pa!
"Ang tagal naman...but he has to be in a safe place first as he is with Jervy and my other furbabies here at home cannot be near him muna...makes me sad that it might take months before I can bring him home but am double-checking.
"Thank you so much to everyone at Angeles Pet Care Center, 46o Rizal Ave., East Tapinac, Olongapo City for taking care of my Pawiboy! God bless you all and lots of love, especially to Jervy Castillo!"
