Kris Aquino has been referring to her eldest son Josh as a “Tarlac resident.”
He left Manila yesterday afternoon, May 26, 2021.
The 50-year-old mom said in her Instagram post, “Gusto na niya talagang tumira sa Alto (our family compound) in what he calls ‘lola’s house.’”
Tarlac is the province of the late President Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino, the mom of Kris.
Alto is a sitio located in Barangay Central, where, according to Kris in a separate post, “I was readying to switch my voter’s registration.”
Josh has always preferred probinsiya life. Back in 2017, he picked a summer vacation in his yaya's hometown in Negros over a beach trip to Maldives.
Early this year, he also chose to stay in Tarlac, while his mom and the family's bunso Bimby initially planned on living in Boracay for six months but eventually decided to stay in Manila.
Part of Kris' caption read (published as is):
“The 3 of us said our goodbyes yesterday afternoon…Pabalik na kami ni Bimb to our serviced residence while the condo we’ll be leasing is being readied."
In the same post, Kris revealed that Josh and Bimby just settled a rift.
She continued, “We are not a perfect family, nagka-mahabang tampuhan yung 2 boys BUT nakuha talaga sa dasal, pasens-ya, at pagmamahal—finally kahapon naramdaman kong nabalik na yung dating higpit ng yakapan at kulitan/lambingan nung dalawa.”
Tarlac has been Josh’s home since March.
Before making such decision, he promised Kris that he would exercise at least one hour a day.
Hence, Josh is usually spotted by Tarlakenyos.
A follower of Kris commented, “Tahimik at maganda kasi tumira sa Alto miss kris lagi ko po nakkita si kuya josh naumiikot dito sa Corazon at napakabait nia nag-hi and hello sa mga nadadaanan nia at isa na po ako doon…”
Kris's son with Philip Salvador recently returned to Manila to spend Mothers’ Day with Kris.
But he will be celebrating his 25th birthday on June 4 in Alto, and will be holding an outreach program, which prepared “800 grocery bags” for families.
