Content creator Toni Fowler surprised her kasambahays Mama Rose and Ate Anne with a generous gift.
The mother-daughter pair from Bicol were introduced to Toni's followers in a YouTube vlog posted on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
According to the 27-year-old social media influencer, they have been helping her manage their household amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Toni said, "For the first time po, si Mommy Oni ay nagkaroon po ng kasambahay dahil kailangan ko na po talaga ng tulong."
Mama Rose and Ate Anne have been with Toni since they were still living in a condominium unit, and are now with her in their new home dubbed "Toro De Palacio." They were also part of the New Year celebration of the "Toro Family," as seen in the vlog post.
However, this meant that both of them weren't able to go back to their hometown in Bicol and celebrate the holidays with their families.
In Toni's vlog, Anne said she misses her family in Bicol. Nonetheless, she was glad to have celebrated the holidays with her biggest idol.
Anne admitted that she has been a big fan of Toni. In fact, Toni recalled the time when Anne asked her to sign a piece of paper with her name, which Anne later got tattooed on her arm.
After the short introduction, Toni surprised Mama Rose and Ate Anne with a cash gift of PHP100,000 as her way of showing her appreciation for them.
Toni said, "Alam kong nami-miss niyo ang pamilya niyo, Mama Rose at saka Ate Anne.
"At ngayong bagong taon, meron akong maliit na regalo para sa inyo.
"Yes, dahil diyan meron kayong 100 thousand pesos!"
Mama Rose and Ate Anne got emotional with Toni's gift and said, "Salamat po Ma’am! Malaki po ito."
Toni jokingly said, "Eto na sahod niyo ng sampung taon!"
According to Mama Rose and Ate Anne, they will use the money for their engine boat in Bicol, as well as improving the bathroom, roof, and water supply of their home.
"Sobrang thank you po! Sobrang salamat talaga! Buo na ang bangka namin," Anne cried.
Mama Rose gratefully added, "Salamat po talaga nang marami, ma’am. Thank you thank you!"
Toni, for her part, said, "Si Mama Rose at saka Ate Anne, lagi nila ako ina-update. 'Pinapagawa na po namin yung bangka namin,' ganito, ganyan."
Toni’s sister, Marie, advised them, "Wag niyo iwanan [si Toni]."
The vlogger rebutted in jest, "Wag niyo pautangin si Ate Marie!"
