The now trending video of Binibining Pilipinas 2022 candidate Graciella Lehmann wearing her immensely intricate Tikbalang-inspired costume with matching hoof-like platform heels makes pageant fans wonder.
How indeed will she do the walk at the parade of national costumes in her massive 18-foot getup made by Eat Bulaga! host/designer Paolo Ballesteros?

The video was actually recorded during the photoshoot with Raymond Saldaña for the pageant's national costume exhibition, which is currently happening at Farmer's Plaza in Cubao, Quezon City.
On Friday, July 9, 2022, Paolo showed on Instagram how Graciella will do the "pasarela," or beauty queen's walk, wearing the platform shoes he designed.
The trick, as he demonstrated, is to take big steps to avoid falling over.
In the caption, he dubbed his "pasarela" as the "Tikbalang walk."
Paolo's celebrity followers counting Angelika dela Cruz, Maja Salvador, Clint Bondad, Kalad, Karen Davila, Allan K, and MJ Lastimosa among many others were impressed by how he pulled it.
As for Graciella, she has been practicing her walk wearing the platform heels for over a week in preparation for the national costume show on July 16, 2022.
She told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an exclusive interview, "I have spent an entire week just to learn walking with my elevated shoes.
"I have fitted the costume several times and Paolo never failed to remind me that I should walk with pride and feel the edges of my shoes, endure every detail of my costume, and that is when I can fully showcase it."
