Aniya sa isang panayam tungkol sa kanyang role sa UC, "I came in because of family obligations. I stayed because I found it challenging."
MAKING CHRISTMAS WISHES COME TRUE

Aniya pa: “I will choose wishes and make some of them come true.
“This is my personal Christmas gift to you.”
Aniya, “You have a better chance of receiving your wish if it is realistic.
“Even better if it is sincere and with a good reason.
“Write down your wish in a courteous manner.
“Below the wish, write your name, age, campus, department, and years of service to UC/ CTS.”
I wanted to do something special for the UC community especially as it was Christmas.
"A lot of our students are from the lower socio-economic segment, and I knew it would mean something to them, the faculty and staff. It was also an enjoyable way of getting to know the needs and concerns of our community."

Pagbabahagi pa ni Candice, "We were also able to send students back to their families in the provinces so they wouldn't be alone during the holidays.
"We had a lot of requests for medical assistance, which we fulfilled.
“One that stood out for me was a girl who asked—very politely—for a backpack because the zipper was broken and chicken joy for Noche Buena.
“That really got me."
Pero paglilinaw ni Candice sa kanyang mga empleyado sa isa pang Facebook post (published as is): “Clarification: these are my PERSONAL gifts. Separate from what your company may give you for Christmas!”
