Maris Racal, a millennial, amused netizens with her admission she didn't know what the Gen Z online slang HNY stood for.
The Kapamilya actress had been seeing HNY on her feed, but it only dawned on her what it meant three days after New Year, on January 3, 2023.
She wrote on Twitter, "akala ko HNY na tawagan ng lahat ng magbeshies. happy new year pala yon akala ko HENNYYYY"
There was valid reason for Maris' thought process as "friends" can be referred to as "frenny" at times.
