Kahit mga sikat na personalidad sa Philippine industry ang kanilang mga magulang na sina Aga Muhlach at Charlene Gonzalez, naranasan nina Atasha at Andres na magkaroon ng ordinaryong pamumuhay noong maliliit pa sila.

Noong July 3, 2023, ipinakilala si Atasha Muhlach bilang exclusive contract star ng Viva Artists Agency. Dito ay ibinahagi niya sa mga miyembro ng entertainment press ang growing-up years nila ng kanyang kakambal na si Andres.

Lahad niya, "We experienced a normal life going to school, playing sports. Growing up, we had a very normal childhood.

"Even my friends and the people around me, they never treated me differently.

“Me and my brother, we grew up in the province, in Batangas. We really had to experience all those things.

"Me and my brother, we were given allowance on the weekends and we will go out to the sari-sari stores, we get the plastic balloons and we always have competitions who can make the biggest plastic balloons.

"We do jackstones and then we go try to find Fudgee bars all the time.

"And we actually have this hack where we put Fudgee bar in the microwave in a mug with ice cream. It’s really yummy. It’s really good.

"And we would always get pan de coco in the bakeries. And sometimes, if we get lucky, they would give crinkles, pan de regla…"

MERMAID DREAM

Ikinuwento rin ni Atasha na naniniwala siya sa sirena noong bata pa siya dahil napanood niya ang Dyesebel, ang 1996 movie ng Viva Films na pinagbidahan ng kanyang ina.

"They would show me photos of my mom on the sea with tail. They would tell me, 'Look, your mom is a mermaid.' And my dad would go, ‘It’s true.’

"So whenever we would go swimming in Taal Lake, I would think, at any point, I’m going to transform into a mermaid. Of course, the older I got, the realization was mermaids are not real."

NEXT BEAUTY QUEEN?

Si Charlene ay 19 years old nang sumali sa Binibining Pilipinas noong 1993, at siya ang nanalong Bb. Pilipinas-Universe.

Sa kasalukuyan, 21 years old si Atasha.

At dahil dating beauty queen ang nanay niya, ang posibilidad na sumali siya sa beauty pageant ang isa sa mga itinanong sa kanya.

"I am not closing my doors to anything so we’ll take it one step at a time.

"I’ m not gonna shut anything out, but if the opportunity is there, we’ll see," sagot ni Atasha.

Beauty-queen material si Atasha tulad ng ina na si Charlene.

Isinalarawan naman ni Atasha ang ina bilang "very beautiful, inside and out."
