Born Sheynnis Alondra Palacios Cornejo on May 30, 2000, in Managua, Nicaragua, Sheynnis boasts not only beauty but also talent and a string of accomplishments.
Standing tall at 180 centimeters (5 feet and 11 inches), she exudes confidence and poise, capturing the attention of pageant fans all over the universe.
Educational Pursuits and Athletic PROWESS
Sheynnis is all but just a pretty face.
She obtained a degree in Mass Communication from the Universidad Centroamericana, first private university in Central America that was founded in 1960.
Simultaneously, she exhibited her athleticism as a varsity volleyball player for the university, proving that she embodies a perfect blend of beauty, brains, and brawn.

Miss Teen Nicaragua 2016
The 23-year-old beauty queen's pagenatjourney began in 2016 when she bagged the title of Miss Teen Nicaragua.
Teen Universe 2017
Her success continued as she represented Nicaragua in the Teen Universe 2017 pageant, securing a spot in the prestigious Top 10.
MISS WORLD NICARAGUA 2021
In 2021, Sheynnis added another crown to her head, winning Miss World Nicaragua.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, she made her country proud during the Miss World 2021 competition in San Juan, Puerto Rico, reaching the Top 40.
Reinado Internacional del Café 2022
Soon, Sheynnis found herself battling COVID-19, which led to her untimely withdrawal from the Reinado Internacional del Café 2022 competition.
Miss Nicaragua 2023
Sheynnis's tenacity and grace came to the fore when she participated in the Miss Nicaragua 2023 competition, where she cpnsistently became a fan favorite.
On August 5, 2023, she emerged victorious, earning the coveted title of Miss Nicaragua 2023 and securing her place as Nicaragua's representative in the Miss Universe pageant.
WINNING MISS UNIVERSE 2023
Sheynnis did not only deliver, but she finished her performance strong.
Her answer to the final question of the night reflected just how dedicated and committed she is to being a woman who not only has a voice but also the power to influence people.
Question: "If you could live in one year, if you could live one year in another woman's shoes, who would you choose and why?"
Sheynis's answer: "I would choose Mary Wollstonecraft because she opened the gap and gave an opportunity to many women... And what I would do, I would want that gap, that income gap, would open up so that women could work in any area that they choose to work in because there are no limitations for women. That was 1750. Now, in 2023, we're making history."
