Ruffa Gutierrez's youngest daughter Venice Bektas, 19, confirmed to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that she will be pursuing her college studies abroad.
The exclusive interview with her took place on February 23, 2024, during the launch of Sunnies Flask in Makati City.

Venice was brimming with excitement, anticipating what the future has in store for her, especially now that she's about to embark on her college journey.
Is she ready to live independently abroad?
Venice answered, "I'm definitely getting ready. I'm very scared.
"But I feel like my mom has given me the tools to be independent already for my future.
I go abroad to the States mga, you know, a month at a time.
"So, of course, I'm there by myself. I know the logistics of it. So I'm just excited."
She added, "Of course, I'm scared because it's all new to me and I'll miss my family. But it's a new experience and it's part of growing."
Venice will most likely major in economics and data analytics.
She explained her decision, saying, "Well, I've always had a passion for business and it's my dream path to go to.
"I've had time to think about what I want to do and finally, I'm set on what I want to do."
Is she joining her sister Lorin Gutierrez at Pepperdine University in California?
Venice replied, "I'm not joining her in the same school. I'm not sure on that yet, but definitely in the States, yes."
VENICE BEKTAS: PURSUING MUSIC
Coming from a well-known showbiz lineage, will Venice follow in her family's footsteps in entertainment?
Ruffa, notably, admires her daughter's talent in singing.
However, Venice's priority is completing her studies before contemplating a potential career in music.
She said, "Well, of course, studies first. I think that's very important because I go to college soon.
"So once I'm done with my studies, then I feel like I'll join showbiz.
"But right now, I'm focused on my studies."
For the time being, Venice mentioned that she might experiment with music as a side hobby while she's in college.
How does she plan to do it? Mainly by creating TikTok videos.
In her words, "I haven't really thought about that yet, but definitely once I'm done with my stuff for college and university, then I can probably make more, for example, TikTok content I feel like social media is very strong.
"So I feel like I can really start with even a simple TikTok."
