Heart Evangelista has found an opportunity to talk about female comradeship during her launch as the new ambassador for Avon Ph's intimate wear apparel on May 2, 2024, at the Brooklyn Warehouse in Sampaloc, Manila.

CANDIDLY SPEAKING
Heart says, baring her thoughts, "Well, the honest truth, I feel like, you know, women can be tough on each other."
The 39-year-old actress/visual artist/businesswoman explains, "Especially in our industry where in a sense, we grew up to think that everything is a competition.
"You're just as good as your number. But as you get older, you know, looks will fade.
'Your career won't be a career one day. It's your heart that will stay.
"No one's perfect and it's a test of time. Again, only time will tell, and, hopefully, everybody can just help each other, not step on each other. Be there for each other, you know.
"All you have to do siguro for a woman to woman, is ask.
"When they see you're humble, with all means, go, I'll help you. Di ba, ganon naman yun, e."
STATE OF THE HEART
As a veteran in her line of work, Heart gracefully admits that while all her prayers have been answered, she has this constant wish.
"Honestly ako, wala na akong hinihingi, career, wala.
"I mean I'm so, I'm so thankful that after 25, 26, I'm still doing what I'm doing so kumbaga, bonus na ito."
Reflecting on her deepest desire, she relates, "Good health for me and my loved ones— my dad, everyone. That's the only thing I ask for. Everything else is a bonus.
"Aanhin mong pera, kasikatan, kung hindi ka naman masaya sa totoong buhay. So, that's all I ask for."
And as a fashion influencer, Heart's lone beauty goal is: "Just stay healthy, that's beauty itself.
"Kaya mong kitain lahat ng pera basta healthy ka, basta may buhay ka, you can do anything.
"So, for me, it's really taking care of my health and the people around me.
"Whatever hashtag, whatever title, I'm okay. As long as I have food on my table, thank you, Lord!"
