Barbie Forteza addresses curiosity about her earnings.
During an exclusive interview on PEP Live, the online talk show of PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), on July 2, 2024, Barbie and her love-team partner David Licauco were asked if they google themselves.
Both answered yes, with Barbie stating, "May tama, may mali... pero mas marami namang tama."
In jest, David told Barbie, "1B daw yung ano mo, e, net worth mo, e."
Barbie quickly replied, "1B? Ganon? Sana all, di ba?"

BARBIE FORTEZA'S RUMORED NET WORTH
Early this year, a list of the wealthiest celebrities went viral online, highlighting stars and their "rumored" net worths.
Barbie made it to the list, ranking 15th with an alleged net worth of PHP 541 million.
To debunk the rumored net worth appearing on search engines, Barbie said, "Sa tingin mo ba kung 1B ang net worth ko, dadating ako ng 9 A,M, dito kahit 12 yung call time? Hindi naman para di ba?"
Returning to the topic of whether they google themselves, Barbie said she does it to stay informed about public perception and to better handle interview questions.
"Hindi naman sa parang pagiging vain, pero para lang self-aware ka.
"Kasi siyempre, parte ng trabaho namin, artista kami, e. So siyempre, andun tayo sa kung...how people see us, ano yung sinasabi sa amin ng mga tao.
"Para lang din pag tinanong kami, alam namin papaano i-a-address yung certain mga issues, questions.
"Para hindi kami caught off-guard, para lang self-aware."
