A new era of shopping begins as SPATIO Department Store opens its doors at the OPUS Mall in Quezon City.
On Thursday, September 5, 2024, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) was given an exclusive preview tour before the much-anticipated opening, revealing a promise of an elevated shopping experience.

In an interview, SPATIO's Deputy General Manager Martin De Leon emphasized that creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere was a top priority.
To bring this vision to life, SPATIO collaborated with acclaimed interior designer Maja Olivares-Co and her team at SSOa (Sonia Santiago Olivares and Associates), ensuring that every corner of the department store exudes elegance and comfort.
Martin told PEP, "We made sure that the concept supports the design, the merchandise, even down to the service.
"So, as you can see talaga, everything is well thought of. The open space na very maaliwalas. We wanna go beyond a traditional department store."

This department store is divided into three levels, each tailored to specific customer needs.
The first level is a haven for men's fashion, travel gear, sports equipment, sunglasses, and watches.
The second level is devoted to women's fashion, beauty products, tech gadgets, and Toys R Us.

The third level caters to home and children’s needs, offering a wide range of home furnishings and children's products.
SPATIO: ELEVATED BUT NOT INTIMIDATING
SPATIO proudly champions local brands by featuring acclaimed Filipino designers, like Rhett Eala, Orias Studios, and Zara Juan, among many others.

These designers, who are more commonly seen in pop-up stores and boutique settings, are making their inaugural appearance in SPATIO.
Martin said, "We also have elevated brands kasi we support local... we have local brands who support sustainability.
"And we also admire their craftsmanship and artistry. We want to create a permanent home for them.
"Some of them kasi are normally in just pop-up stores. Pero here, we trust and we'll come up with collaborations and a close partnership to also help grow their business.
"So that is the concept of the local brands that we're carrying."
He added, "We also have a lot of brands who are very new to the market... na they wanted to partner with us for this new concept.
"So it kind of blends all of them together. So we have new brands, new concepts, etc. So, you know, to define the SPATIO experience."

SPATIO also has a unique mix of brand offerings, blending high-end, designer products with beloved, affordable Filipino favorites, ensuring that there is something for every shopper.
Martin expounded, "It's actually a mix of both. There are brands who are long-term partners of the group as well. And they are what we call the department-store staples.
"They are really established brands that our customers are looking for. So we made sure that they're part of this project."
He added, "We wanna be able to provide an elevated shopping experience for our customers. But we don't want it to be intimidating.
"Meaning, of course, we want to have something for everyone. So we want our customers coming in, even if they need a basic item. A basic black or white socks, we have them.
"And then coming out with a SPATIO bag. And being happy that they purchased something from a curated or a concept store such as this."
SPATIO: EXCLUSIVE
SPATIO distinguishes itself by blending traditional retail with dynamic lifestyle features, making every visit a unique and engaging experience.
On the first level, shoppers can enjoy a chic wine bar, get a top-notch grooming session at the Bruno's Barbers, and utilize a dedicated alterations area for personalized tailoring services.

"Sole Academy has just opened their full concept Sole Academy offering. Sole Mini for kids. Sole Care also for sneaker care. And all of the shoe cleaning and re-gluing services we also offer.
"And then, the partnership we have with, for example, Saucony.
"We were chosen as an exclusive partner to launch their tier zero drops or collections.
"So today, as we open the grand launch, we're also launching an exclusive drop from Saucony called 'Fabricated Future.' So we're offering that here. It's actually a limited edition. So we have very limited inventory."
