Not many brides can say that their groom handled their makeup on their wedding day, but content creator Lenie Aycardo has the privilege of having her husband Hajie Alejandro take on that task.
Starting the year with a significant milestone, Lenie and Hajie were wed in a civil ceremony on January 3, 2025.
They took to social media on January 7, 2025, to share the heartwarming news of their marriage.
Hajie delightedly shared their wedding photos on Instagram, captioning them with, "I wanna Make it with you [emoji] Officially Mr. & Mrs. Alejandro [emoji]"
Meanwhile, Lenie posted a different set of photos with the caption, "Mr. and Mrs. Alejandro ????" and invited followers to watch their latest YouTube video for more details.
In a separate post, Lenie shared an additional special detail: Hajie was the one who did her bridal makeup.
She wrote, "From my boyfriend doing my makeup for our wedding proposal to my husband doing my makeup on our wedding day. [emojis]."
Hajie has been the talent behind Lenie's looks in their viral makeup challenge videos on TikTok.
To complete Lenie's bridal transformation, hairstylist Dominic Mangat was responsible for her stunning hairstyle, ensuring her locks were as glamorous as the occasion demanded.
Lenie's exquisite bridal gown was designed by the renowned JhaJha Miranda.
Hajie, not to be outdone, opted for a tailored suit from Xandro Official.

The couple also shared some of their most cherished moments from their wedding day in a vlog on Lenie's YouTube channel.
The vlog captured the hustle and bustle of their wedding preparations, highlighting their content creation process at Onze Studios leading up to the civil ceremony.
During the ceremony, the couple exchanged touching vows, each sharing promises filled with love and commitment.
Hajie expressed to Lenie, "Kung anong nagdadala sa akin ngayon, dahil yun sa pagmamahal at suportang ibinigay mo sa akin.
"Asahan mo na magpapatuloy pa rin ako at hindi ako magbabago, tulad ng kung paano ang ginagawa ko sa iyo ngayon.
"So habang buhay na ito, forever na ito. So yun lang, maraming maraming salamat at mahal na mahal kita."
In response, Lenie lovingly promised Hajie, "Pinapangako ko sa iyo na hindi kita iistresin, sasamahan kita sa lahat, and mamahalin kita nang buong buhay ko. Love you!"
Following the ceremony, Hajie and Lenie seized the opportunity to capture more photos and videos, ensuring that every precious moment of their special day was beautifully documented.
Their journey continued with a delightful stop at Lenie's favorite street food vendor.
THE WEDDING PREPARATIONS
Hajie and Lenie also disclosed in the vlog that they had to expedite the planning process, with only a handful of days to prepare.
This was because their wedding coordinator at JFEM Joy Francisco Events Management informed them that January 3, 2025, was the only available date for their civil union.
Hajie recalled, "Actually December 27 lang namin nalaman na ikakasal kami ng January 3. So lahat short prep, lahat mabilisan, and hindi talaga kami nakapag-ready masyado."
Lenie added, "Plan naman na talaga namin magpakasal ng January kaso wala nga kaming date, wala kaming nakukuhang date.
"Tapos sabi sa amin ng coordinator, 'January 3 daw po ang available na date.' Tapos nagulat na lang kami ni Hajie, eto na... Sobrang rush na."
Despite the time crunch, Hajie emphasized the importance of this milestone, explaining that they prioritized the wedding so it could take place before the arrival of their baby, marking the start of their new chapter as a family.
"Ito na yung mas important sa amin ngayon. Since nung dumating sa amin si Baby Bangs, naisip na namin i-push na agad yung aming civil wedding.
"Pero, guys, itutuloy pa rin namin ang aming grand wedding. Pero hindi pa muna ngayon.
"Siyempre, kailangan nating mag-focus sa pregnancy ni Lenie. At kailangan natin mag-ingat kasi bawal siya ma-stress."
