Has Ramon Bautista officially joined the ranks of SUV big boys?
The comedian, filmmaker, and internet celebrity uploads a new vlog on August 17, 2025, simply titled “2025 Toyota Land Cruiser LC300.”
The video shows Ramon at a Toyota dealership, going through the motions of buying and test-driving Toyota’s flagship SUV, the Land Cruiser LC300 ZX.
From the get-go, Ramon sets the tone with his jokes.
Standing beside the imposing black LC300, he quips: “Eto yung Toyota Land Cruiser ZX LC300.
“Okay, i-e-experience natin kung ano pakiramdam i-drive diyan saka kung paano bumili ng ganyan.
“Kaya tara mga hampaslupa, try natin yung kotse ng mga congressman, bilyonaryo, saka mga vlogger na big-time.”

A Price Tag for Power
Two representatives from the dealership entertain all of Ramon's queries, starting with, "Magkano yung ganyan?"
One of the staff members reveals, "PHP5.7 million."
Ramon initially remarks, "SUV ito na practical."
Then he contradicts himself: "Ha? Anong sabi mo? Luxury SUV, practical? E, status symbol ito, e. Alam ng lahat na mahal ito. Ginagamit nga ito pang-power projection."
While many Filipinos can only dream of owning such a luxury vehicle, he makes the experience relatable by cracking jokes at every step.
It’s hard to tell though whether Ramon is now a legit Land Cruiser owner or not. One of his YouTube subscribers refer to it as a "pinag-ipunan mo."
But over on Facebook, one fan comments: “Napanood ko na. Naguguluhan ako kung maniniwala akong iyo ‘yun o hindi...”
Ramon replies (published as is): “Kung akin talaga 'yan, hindi ka maguguluhan dahil iyayabang ko talaga nang sagad — as in sampung pic sa My Day everyday haha...”
He adds, “Ok na po ako sa LC ko. LanCer hihi."
Or is Ramon just being modest?
Behind the Wheel
The highlight of the vlog is the moment he slides behind the driver’s seat for the much-anticipated test drive.
With cameras rolling, he channels the mindset of a congressman cocooned in luxury, while ordinary citizens wrestle with traffic and heat outside.
“Ganito pala pakiramdam ng congressman, no? Di mo nararamdaman yung mga lubak, yung init, yung struggle ng mga tao,” he playfully comments.
“Paano ka makakapagpapasa ng mga batas na pangmamamayan nito, e, ang sarap ng pakiramdam dito sa likod.
“Ganda ng aircon, ang tahimik.
“Pati mga lubak dito di mo mararamdaman. Paano mapapasemento yung mga aspalto na iyan?”
The punchline lands because his delivery tells exactly what makes the LC300 such a coveted SUV: comfort so complete, it feels like a buffer against real-world struggles.
He seems underwhelmed though by the honk, calling it "mahinahon."
