Kumurot sa puso ng maraming netizens ang kuhang video ng isang Grade 10 student na yumakap sa kanyang teacher sa kanyang moving-up ceremony.
Nagsimula ito sa pagsampa ng batang lalaki sa stage kasama ang kanyang guardian.
Isa pala siyang honor student.
Kinamayan niya ang bawat guro sa entablado, pero nang umabot sa gurong nasa dulo, niyakap niya ito nang mahigpit.
Kitang hindi inasahan ng guro ang gesture ng estudyante.
Ang video ay ipinost mismo ng guro sa TikTok. Mayroon na itong higit three million views.

Gumawa ng follow-up post ang guro na kinilalang si Yho Mallari.
Pagpapakilala niya sa sarili, “I’m a Grade 10 teacher sa public school sa Pampanga.”
Siya ay Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health (MAPEH) teacher at adviser ng estudyante.
Tahimik at wala raw sa personalidad ng bata ang pagiging expressive kaya nasorpresa ang guro.
Saad ni Sir Yho: “During that time, I was really shocked by the gesture of the student…
“It’s very unexpected of him lalo na sa kanyang personality as one of the quietest or most quiet na estudyante inside my classroom.
“Even his classmates were very shocked, even the guests, the parents, lalong-lalo na ako.”
Teacher Yho Mallari was surprised when his Grade 10 student unexpectedly hugged him while receiving his medal. Later, Teacher Yho revealed that the student is quiet but very smart.

“Magsasalita lang iyan whenever he’s asked. He’s not very expressive inside my classroom.

TEACHER HIGLIGHTS TEACHING AS A NOBLE PROFESSION
Sa pamamagitan ng direct messaging sa TikTok, nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainmen Portal) ang guro noong gabi ng April 13, 2026.
Si Sir Yho ay 35 years old at halos pitong taon nang nagtuturo.
Nangyari ang moving-up ceremony ng Arayat National High School noong March 30, 2026.
“Napakasaya sa pakiramdam,” sabi niya tungkol sa yakap na natanggap mula sa estudyante.
“As a teacher, yung gesture na ginawa niya is like an affirmation na teachers are not only instruments for learners to acquire their knowledge and skills, handa rin kaming maging support system nila kahit sa anong aspeto.
“I believe that the appreciation was a statement that I have accomplished something as his adviser.
“It also made me realize that ang laki ng impact ng teachers sa buhay ng isang bata.
“It reminded me why I chose the teaching profession in the first place.”
May mensahe siyang nais iparating sa mga kapwa guro, na aniya'y may malaking papel sa paghubog ng personalidad ng estudyante.
Sabi ni Teacher Yho: "Sa kabila ng hamon at hirap sa pagtuturo, ang sarap pa rin sa feeling na tayo ang nagiging second parents ng mga bata.
“Every time na nakikita nating nag-i-improve sila at unti-unting natutupad ang kanilang goals, doon natin nare-realize na super worth it ang lahat ng effort at puyat natin.
“Kaya let’s keep sharing that light and passion, dahil ang success ng isang estudyante ay tunay na reward na walang kapantay.
“Huwag nating kalimutan kung bakit natin pinili ang propesyong ito.
“Laban lang at laging piliing maging inspirasyon, dahil sa bawat lesson na itinuturo natin, binibigyan natin sila ng baon na pag-asa para sa kanilang kinabukasan.”
