Miguel Tanfelix was visibly nervous after learning that his mom, Grace Tanfelix, had brought home an unexpected new pet—a ball python.
In a video posted on April 19, 2026, on his official Facebook page, Miguel documented the moment Mommy Grace introduced her pet, which she named Señorita.
The Kapuso actor couldn’t help but ask why his mom decided to get a snake in the first place.
She casually replied, “Kasi Year of the Snake ako, e.”
Mommy Grace handled Señorita with ease, while Miguel appeared noticeably uncomfortable around the reptile. He kept his distance, closely watching his mom as she interacted with the snake.
Noticing the snake’s reaction, Mommy Grace said, "Natatakot siya."
Miguel then quipped, "Oo nga, natatakot siya. Ako rin natatakot, e!"
Despite his fear, Miguel eventually gave in to his mom’s encouragement and tried holding the snake. Though tense at first, he managed to keep his composure as Señorita rested in his hands.
Moments later, Mommy Grace convinced him to place the snake on his shoulders. Although he agreed, Miguel looked quite scared.
He said, "Tanggalin mo mommy, baka sakalin ako, e."
Miguel’s post has garnered 45,000 likes since it was put out, with netizens filling the comments section with humorous reactions.
One Facebook user joked about Mommy Grace’s reason for getting a pet snake, commenting, “Naku, buti hindi Year of the Dragon, nanay mo [emoji].”
Another netizen added, “Paano nalang kung Year of the Tiger, nanay mo [emoji].”
Meanwhile, someone dropped this comment about Miguel, “ang cute ng crush ko matakot [emoji],” while another quipped, “Kalaking tao ehh [emoji] kakatuwa ka, Miggy.”
