A seven-year-old Kathryn Bernardo once aspired to become a makeup artist.

Did you know that before Kathryn Bernardo became an actress, she wanted to become a makeup artist?

This was revealed by her makeup artist Denise Ochoa, who recalled her first encounter with the Kapamilya actress 13 years ago.

“I did her makeup for a commercial, but she wasn’t an artista yet,” the wife of Dominic Ochoa told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an exclusive interview during the reveal of the newest faces of Pond’s.

Kathryn is now one of the brand's endorsers.

Denise continued, "Sobrang cute na cute ako sa kanya as in,kinakandong ko siya.

"She was one of the first few na naka-work ko."

Even if Kathryn was just seven years old back then, she already showed interest in the art of makeup.

She even asked Denise then if she could learn the skills from her one day.

“She was telling me before, ‘Tita, I wanna be a makeup artist when I grow up.’

“Sabi niya puwede ba ako mag-apprentice sa 'yo? Sabi ko, ‘Sige, siguro after high school, you can apprentice over me.’”

But seeing Kathryn's promising career as a child star, Denise knew that her muse had already found her calling.

“Kaya nung nag-debut siya, that was actually what I said. You told me before you wanted to be a makeup artist, but now I think you’re being led to a different path because sobra mo nang sikat.”

While Kathryn is already established as one of the young superstars of her generation, the 20-year-old can still be seen practicing her makeup skills on Instagram.

I just have to post this selfie because i did my own make up! Yay! I need more practice pa ate den  @deniseochoa
