Ever since their Forevermore days, Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano have been giving each other gifts for every occasion.
It has become a LizQuen tradition, how do they choose their gifts?
Enrique quickly said, “It’s hard, man!”
The 25-year-old actor added he picks gifts that Liza “deserves... she deserves the more expensive ones."
Indeed, the Kapamilya actor made Liza’s 19th birthday last January one for the books.
He gave his screen partner a Chanel Boy Flap bag.
And so far, Enrique had bought Liza a blue Hermes bracelet, a gold necklace from Tiffany’s, a pair of Versace high-top trainers, and a pet dog.
He offered a caveat though, “But she wants the simple things… everyone wants simple things. Those are the hardest ones to get.”
GOOD MEMORIES. At the Close-Up #CloserThanEver event last August 22 in Makati City, Enrique and Liza sat down with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and the press for a short interview.
The love team expounded on their way of giving gifts, and both agreed they had to be something “useful.”
Liza added it has to be something that will bring back good memories.
She also revealed that choosing a gift for Enrique isn’t too difficult since she “knows him very well.”
The new Darna star recently gave Enrique a stormtrooper from Star Wars.
“I got him a stormtrooper, which would remind him of his father because his father likes Star Wars.”
In appreciation, the actor said Liza’s gifts will have a special place in his new home.
He assured, “When I transfer to my next home, I want to display all my stuff there.”
