Solenn Heussaff simply wants husband Nico Bolzico, who is busy managing his business, to relax when he's home, and that is why she "takes care of everything."

When we last asked Nico Bolzico about life at home with wife Solenn Heussaff, Nico did not deny that he barely contributes to the household chores.

“I do pretty much nothing, and she’s the one who's doing everything when it comes to house management," he told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a previous interview.

"Sad to say, but it's really true."

At the opening of Solenn's second solo art exhibit last October 19, in Shangri-La at The Fort, PEP.ph asked Solenn if this is true, and she quickly replied, “Ay, he doesn’t do sh*t. Yeah.”

But Solenn has no problems with their setup.

She explained, “We’re very chill. We’re like friends at home.

“His work is very stressful because it’s a lot of paperwork and everything, so when he comes home, I wanna make sure he comes to a relaxed home.

“So I’m the one who takes care of everything—pati light bulb changing.”

Solenn and Nico don’t have household help, so it’s Solenn who physically takes charge of managing the household.

But how does the equally busy actress-host find time and energy to do all that?

Solenn replied in jest, “I put my husband aside! I don’t see him, that’s how I fit it!”

But the Kapuso star said more seriously that it’s all about making a deliberate effort to make time for what's important.

“If you want to find time, you’ll find time.

“It’s not an excuse to say, ‘I don’t have the time.’”
