"Pilot Queen" Nelda Ibe is currently in Tirana, Albania, to represent the Philippines at the Miss Globe 2017 pageant.
The 23-year-old licensed pilot has been making waves at the Canada-based pageant's 14th edition.
So far, Nelda did well in two of Miss Globe's pre-pageant activities.

Last November 2, Nelda placed 2nd runner-up in the pageant's Miss Bikini competition.
Nigeria's Natasha Akpokona won the award, while Albania's very own Alessia Çoku was the first runner-up.
Nelda also made it to the top 7 finalists of the pageant's talent competition, where Nelda performed her version of Chicago's "You're My Inspiration."
South Africa's Talitha Bothma won as Miss Talent.
Nelda presently ranks second on the pageant's official online poll with 20 precent of the total votes.
Korea's representative Ji Yeon Lee currently is leading with 55 percent of the total votes.
Pageant fans can vote for their bets via the website TheMissGlobe.com for one dollar.
She also got the attention of Albania's local television.

Meanwhile, here's her national costume inspired by sampaguita and ilang-ilang.
It was designed by Lumban-based designer Frederick Berches.
A total of 53 contestants will compete for the Miss Globe 2017 crown happening on November 3 (November 4, around 3:30 a.m. in the Philippines.).
In 2015, Philippines sent its first delegate to the Miss Globe pageant. Ann Colis bagged the title.
The following year, Nichole Manalo was the pageant's 3rd runner-up.
