Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico had a different kind of Valentine’s Day this year.
Last February 13, Solenn and Nico flew to Miami, Florida, to attend the 15th annual Palm Beach Jewelry, Art, & Antique Show.
The Palm Beach Jewelry, Art, & Antique Show is considered “the largest and most important show of its kind in the United States.”
This international art exhibit brings together an array of “spectacular works of art, rare antiques, and timeless treasures” from around the world.
The local counterpart for this prestigious art gallery is Manila Fame, which is considered as “the country’s premier design and lifestyle event.”
For this year’s Palm Beach Art show, four of Solenn’s paintings got a spot, thanks to the US-based fine art gallery, Oliver and Espig.
The Kapuso actress/painter briefly told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) about this project back last January 26.
She said, “I was supposed to do eight [paintings], but I didn’t have time. So I was only able to do four, but they still accepted me.”
She admitted then that participating in her first international art gallery with several other artists felt “more intimidating” than putting up her own.
“I just wanted to try. I thought I was just joining a gallery until I googled it and I was like, ‘Holy f*ck!’
“So there’s so many different types of art—I don’t know what to expect!”
Solenn and Nico were accompanied by their friend, designer Mia Arcenas-Branelles.
SUPPORTIVE HUBBY. As expected, Nico was Solenn’s number one fan during the show's opening night.
On his Instagram account, the Argentinean businessman wrote his wife a touching message dashed with his signature humor.
The message read: “A different kind of Valentines!
“So proud of this one representing the Philippines at the Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique! First Filipino artist that make it and hopefully the first of many!
“I am here as support system, perfect mix between ideal husband and boy toy!
“My main 2 roles in this trip are:
1- Holding the purse
2- Give assurance that she doesn't look fat in that dress (or any other that she will wear during the trip).
“Happy Valentines bebe! You inspire everyday! Te Amo!”
