Paulina Sotto is no longer Vic Sotto’s youngest daughter.

This role has officially been passed on to Tali, Paulina’s new baby sister and her dad’s newborn with wife, Pauleen Luna.

Of course, being the youngest for a long time, the daughter of Vic and Angela Luz admitted that she felt a bit sad not being the bunso anymore.

“It’s been a while that you’ve been the bunso, and it’s even harder because it’s been a while!” Paulina told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at her joint art exhibit with seasoned painter Al Perez, in Rustan’s Makati, last March 7.

“I was the bunso for 25 years, and you’re about to make me a middle child. So, I’m not gonna lie, it’s been really hard.”

But Paulina quickly fell in love with her new sister once Tali was born.

“Tali, oh, Tali! Every time we have the chance, we go and see her. She’s so cute and fat!

“We love her! I love her very much.

“Everything’s good. All good, all good.”

RELATIONSHIP WITH HALF-SIBLINGS. When Paulina was younger, she recalled that her relationship with half-siblings, (L-R) Vico Sotto, Danica Sotto-Pingris, and Oyo Sotto, wasn’t as close-knit as it is now.

The 26-year-old visual artist said, “Actually, with my siblings, we actually grew closer the past few years.

"Before, the past few years, we weren’t really close at all. We would see each other once a year at my dad’s birthday,” which is April 28.

But when Vic got serious with Pauleen, he made the extra effort to have them spend time with one another whenever they could.

“That’s when he made an effort to really bring everyone together, because everyone had to be close to Pauleen, you know what I mean?

“My dad really made the effort to bring all of us together during dinners.

“So, finally now, it really feels like I do have these siblings.

“It turned out for the better.”

Paulina pointed out that she grew particularly close to her Kuya Vico.

“I’m really, really close to him, which I never would have imagined growing up.

“Because before, we would share car rides—zero! Zero speaking, and now I tell him everything, which is really great!

“I feel really good about that.”
