Judy Ann Santos's 40th birthday was truly memorable, thanks to her husband Ryan Agoncillo.
The trip to Italy last April was one for the books. Ryan fulfilled Juday's wish of cooking for the Filipino nuns in the Vatican.
The multi-course Japanese dinner last night, May 10, was romantic.
And just when the birthday girl thought the celebration was over, the Eat Bulaga! host threw a surprise party for her at the Bank Bar.
The Kapamilya star was teary-eyed when she realized a lot of her friends came to personally greet her.
She felt like 19 again. Back then, her family mounted a party, which doubled as her debut because they couldn't afford a grander celebration yet when she was 18.
Juday bagged the role of Mara in Mara Clara in 1996, the year she turned 18. But her breakthrough happened when she top-billed Esperanza in 1997, the year she turned 19.
Back to her Fortylicious party, one more gift awaited her that evening: The presence of Ely Buendia.
When she saw him emerged from behind the curtain, she got hysterical.
Ely was Juday's crush so she was super kilig.
He also played a minor role in the couple's love story.
The birthday girl revealed that evening that Ryan served as the photographer for the first album of Ely's band Pupil in 2005, the year Ryan became Juday's leading man in Krystala.
The actress knew then that the host was living independently, so she went to the pictorial and brought him some snacks.
Going back to the party, with the help of Direk Joyce Bernal, Ely agreed to sing a song for Juday, but ended up singing three Eraserheads hits: "Ang Huling El Bimbo," "Magasin," and "Pare Ko."
By the way, he didn't ask for a fee.
Here's the birthday girl being hysterical the minute Ely started singing.
Juday kept hugging Ryan, whom she addresses as "Bub" or "Bubba."
