Life after college college is "pretty much the same with a bit more responsibilities," said Kaila Estrada.

The statuesque daughter of Janice de Belen and John Estrada finished her Art Management course at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in July 2017.

She related, "I was modeling na kasi before. I was modeling and studying.

"So now, I have more time. I can do more projects out of town."

So far, the highlight of her summer this year was their family outing.

"Went to the beach with my mom. We went to Tali, Batangas, together.

"We were not complete because some of us had jobs.

"Since we started working, it's so hard to be complete.

"Hopefully, we'll be able to have time together before summer ends."

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) spoke with Kaila at the preview of Solo: A Star Wars Story organized by Globe Telecom.

Is she still living with her mom (2nd from L) and siblings (L-R) Yuan, Ina, and Moira?

"Yes, we all live together. Except of course our brother who now has his own family."

She was referring to Igi Mouhlach, Janice's son with Aga Muhlach.

Kaila continued, "We, the girls, shell out for the bills."

How about the household chores?

The 5'7" beauty nodded, "Whenever I'm home, siyempre.

"If I'm not doing anything naman, I'll do what I need to do.

"Nothing much has changed, and I have no problem with it at all."

Does the 1 a.m. curfew, Janice's major rule in the house, still apply even if all of them are in their 20s?

Laughing, she answered, "Yes, of course. Until I'm married siguro, that rule will apply.

"But I'm used to it. It's kinda automatic.

"But if you're gonna be late because of work, like you have a pictorial or shoot, that's okay.

"Still, my mom has to know where we are, and that's fine."

In her previous interviews with PEP.ph, Kaila had stressed that showbiz was not her cup of tea.

Now that she's 22, does she still feel the same about the career of her famous parents?

"Modeling is something that I've always wanted to do ever since I was 16.

"And when I tried it out, I'm glad that it worked. At the moment, I'm happy."

And it looks like Kaila has not changed her mind,  "I guess I don't really see myself...

"I'm appreciative of the craft, like I enjoy seeing mom in movies.

"But acting is just not really my thing now.

"It doesn't excite me as much as a fashion gig does.

"But I'll never say never.

"Just that at the moment, it's the farthest thing from my mind."
