(L-R) Enrique Gil, Liza Soberano, and Maymay Entrata get ready for the ABS-CBN Ball which will happen later this evening, September 29, at the Makati Shangri-La. Over 80 Kapamilya stars went to the Belo Beauty Suite located at the hotel's presidential suite on the 28th floor.

Before glamming up for the ABS-CBN Ball later, September 29, around 80 Kapamilya stars had a pampering session at the Belo Beauty Suite.

The presidential suite of Makati Shangri-La on 28th floor was turned into a tropical-themed beauty station, where celebrities got their beauty treatments and IV drips.

Meanwhile, the ball will be held at the hotel's Rizal Ballroom.

Below are some of the celebrities PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) spotted at the suite.

THE EXPERIENCE

According to celebrity beauty doctor Hayden Kho, "Our intention is to pamper our babies and to prepare them on the same day of the ball.

"For this year, we dressed up the whole place and then we curated several treatments and procedures that won't leave any redness and doesn't have any down time...

"And treatments that will make them glow, and even energized for the evening."

Nine enhancement procedures—five intravenous drips and four facial treatments—were made available for the attendees of the ball.

The IV drips include Cinderella Drip, Athlete's Drip, Enhanced Supervitamin Drip, Placenta Drip, and Double Defense Drip. Meanwhile, the facial treatments include the Cryo Slush, Jet Peel Skin Reboot, MDNA Chrome Mask, and Opera LED Mask.

Last year, at the Star Magic Ball, the Belo Medical Group also had a beauty suite for celebrities.

This writer tried the Athlete's Drip, which, according to Hayden, is perfect for hangovers and for those who need energy boost for the whole night.

Hayden told PEP.ph, "Most of the time, ang Athlete's Drip namin is really for athletes. Kasi it has L-Carnitine for fat metabolism and it helps you energize because of the Taurine. But for tonight, this is for hangovers."

What was it like?

It was my first time, and it was scary at first. It took at least 10 to 15 minutes to finish the whole drip. By the way, it left a garlicky taste in my mouth, but Doctor Jo told me it was normal.

Meanwhile, fellow PEP.ph writer Chez Ganal tried two facial treatments: the Jet Peel and the MDNA Chrome Mask.

Chez's experience: "Their jet peel treatment hydrates the skin and refreshes the face. It is only a 15-minute treatment, making it easy to squeeze it in your event preparations. The MDNA Chrome Mask peels off any skin imperfection. It only takes 10 minutes to finish."
