Nicko Falcis II is a certified public accountant. He was among the bright boy of Kris C. Aquino Productions (KCAP), and helped establish Kris as a digital star.

Nicardo "Nicko" Falcis II, 35, lives and breathes business.

Before he became the managing director of Kris C. Aquino Productions (KCAP)—the production company that successfully redirected Kris Aquino's career to the digital platform—Nicko was a multi-passionate entrepreneur.

Meaning, his interests lay everywhere.

An alumnus of University of the Philippines (Diliman), he graduated cum laude, with a degree in Business Administration and Accountancy in 2005.

According to his public Facebook profile, Nicko remained an active member of the university community even after his graduation.

He mentored marketing students for the L'Oreal Brandstorm—an annual global student marketing competition held in Paris, France.

He also taught the Special Topics in Operations Management elective at the UP Virata School of Business in 2014.

The same time Nicko was a practicing certified public accountant, he also pursued a joint master's degree in Global Finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School and the New York University Stern School of Business in November 2016.

NICKO IS A WORKAHOLIC

Nicko's younger brother, Atty. Jesus "Jess" Nicardo III Falcis, described him as "workaholic" to a fault.

"My brother is a very busy person. I rarely saw him nga when he was involved in so many work commitments," Jess has said.

Before becoming the finance manager of Nacho Bimby + Potato Corner, Nicko was already part of Potato Corner's team.

He also worked with Gold's Gym as part of its PR and digital marketing team.

On top of that, Nicko managed to establish an impressive food-and-lifestyle hub along Scout Rallos, Quezon City.

All of these work commitments were done while he was also teaching and mentoring college students in U.P.

To go by Nicko's public Facebook profile, being busy is how he thrives.

One of his public Facebook statuses from 2014 read, "I just survived 5 different meetings (from coaching champions to business reviews and even new ventures) all crammed today!!! #ilovemyjob

NICKO AND KCAP

Nicko is currently the subject of an ongoing controversy, after Kris Aquino accused him of qualified theft.

His brother Jess, wearing the hat of the Falcis family spokesperson, spoke to a few members of the press yesterday, November 15, to issue an official statement about the accusations.

Jess, who is a lawyer and a radio personality, also said that Nicko was already a "self-made" finance expert "before pa my brother worked for Ms. Aquino."

He pointed out: "That's why Ms. Aquino got him.

"Kris Aquino did not make my brother!"

Jess went on to say, "If I may say and be a proud brother, [Nicko] helped Ms. Aquino a lot. In digital—Facebook, webisodes, branded endorsement deals—my brother closed 54 brands for Ms. Aquino, including Crazy Rich Asians."

Crazy Rich Asians was a 2018 Hollywood film, where Kris was cast as the Sultana of Borneo.

Before Kris began her accusations against Nicko, the actress/host/endorser had been vocal on Instagram about how Nicko was a vital member of KCAP.

Early this year, Kris openly thanked Nicko for his "hustle" and "leadership."

She was proud when Nicko finished his joint master's degree, saying, "This person is responsible for helping me pick up the shattered pieces of me, not afraid of getting himself bloodied along the way. And together I feel we did a good job because the new me came out a better & stronger version..."

Before digital, Kris was in a slump. Formerly called the "Queen of All Media," she had lost all her television programs, had no contract with any major network, appeared only in occasional movie projects, and generally had no regular platform.

Then Nicko came along, and made Kris a digital star.

Last November 28, 2017, Kris's Instagram post said as much: "This man w/ me has been so instrumental in piloting my 2017 journey—i owe him not just my gratitude but my life long loyalty because [Nicko] is my northern star."

In her Complaint Affidavit, Kris narrated that she and Nicko began their working relationship in July 2016.

He acted as her "Projects Manager to solicit business for me for brand endorsements, acting engagements or investments in commercial ventures" and as her "business and marketing executive, as my talent agent, and negotiated contracts."

Nicko is currently based abroad.

Ironically, his stay abroad, according to his brother Jess, was made imperative by Kris's wrath.

By Jess's telling, Kris has threatened to kill Nicko if he makes the mistake of stepping in the Philippines.

Her beef with the man she formerly extolled, to go by Kris's own Complaint Affidavit, is 1.27M pesos. The same Complaint demands damages of roughly 32M pesos.
