Beauty Gonzalez admits to being a "manang," and her husband Norman Crisologo loves her for it.

A 15-year age difference between couples may seem huge, but not for Beauty Gonzalez and Norman Crisologo.

In fact, both even agreed their age gap has made sorting out their differences easier.

Beauty and Norman said they appreciate the fact that there's always something new to learn about each other.

“Every day is a discovery,” the 27-year-old Kapamilya actress told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

Norman is an art curator and the one thing they have in common, according to Beauty, is they both have an eye for antique furniture and art.

She mused about it, "I like old [furniture]..."

Norman jumped in and said, "Old furniture, hindi old people, ha!"

Beauty laughed and finished her sentence, “Antiques, and we like art.

"I'm an old soul living in a young body so ayun yung common ground namin."

The couple opened up about their relationship at the launch of Close Up's Free To Love campaign on Wednesday, November 14, at The Mind Museum in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

FUN PART IN THEIR AGE GAP

Norman said their age gap has actually worked to their advantage.

He said, "Especially with the generation gap, talagang it's nicer.

"Kasi there are so many things that are different about us, and it helps the relationship para it doesn't get boring.

"It’s a different perspective. You try to think about things in a different way...

"To put yourself in her shoes and vice versa. It's always something new."

Beauty told the press, "Timing lang din siguro talaga and, I guess, you pray."

For his part, Norman said, "We're just really bagay, I don't know.

"But, siyempre, I think I'm a bit more patient 'cause I'm older, and I like to understand why she does things."

Beauty grew up in Cebu, while Norman has lived all his life in Metro Manila.

Instead of creating misunderstanding, this part about them has in fact drawn them closer.

Norman, for one, has taken to learning how to speak Bisaya.

Beauty quipped, "Hindi na ako puwedeng magalit, iniintindi niya na yung mga sinasabi ko [in Bisaya]."

Norman commented, “She's a provincial girl. She grew up in the province, and I’m really a city guy.

"Those are the big differences but, actually, they really work for us.

"I mean totally different, so we get to learn a lot more stuff."

Norman also volunteered that he's a lot more free-spirited than his wife.

He described her as a bit of a "manang."

Beauty remarked, "Ako yung natutong mag-relax sa kanya nung naging kami."
