Edward Barber has been to a number of cities around the world thanks to his work as a celebrity.

Just last year, Edward and his love team partner Maymay Entrata have traveled to Hawaii, London, Germany, and most recently, Dubai.

But out of all countries he has been to, the young Kapamilya actor wants to return to Thailand.

At his latest endorsement shoot at Eastwood City in Libis last January 22, Edward spoke to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) about the non-profit organization, Friends of Thai Daughters.

He said, "It's a charity that saves girls from human trafficking, sex slaves, but it also saves them before they get into it.

"So, for example, their parents are drug addicts and they were willing to sell their daughter for drugs, the charity will save them before they get that far."

Edward learned about this charity before he became a part of Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 in 2016.

He celebrated his birthday in Thailand, and his dad, whose business is connected to the organization, introduced him to the people in Friends of Thai Daughters.

The 18-year-old former PBB housemate continued, "I said if I get into PBB and if I do well, I promise I won't forget this charity. I promised that to them on my birthday.

"All of the girls there, they start from like three to four years old, and they’re the most innocent kids in the world.

"They are so hardworking. They do their homework, they do the house chores. They’re so disciplined and they’re just… the amount of love they have to share.

"It's something you don't really see a lot in normal society, parang ganun. They just have a lot of happiness to share.

"There is a girl called Napa, she's four or six years old. She keeps on calling me 'brother' in Thai.

TRAVEL DREAMS

Aside from Thailand, Edward revealed that he and Maymay share the same travel dreams as well.

He said, "For vacation, I would like to go to either Australia or Korea.

The young Kapamilya star added, "I see my future here in the Philippines, but I see a lot of it—like, I see myself being based here, but I see myself going around the world exploring.
