Celebrity breakups—from long-time couples to fairly new ones—usually dominate news headlines.

In 2018, at least ten celebrity couples confirmed they have ended their relationship.

This is probably why most fans think the saying "walang forever" rings true in showbiz.

But one enduring showbiz couple remain steadfast in their commitment to forever: Doug Kramer and Cheska Garcia-Kramer.

The couple are now on their 16th year of being together, 11 of which they have spent as husband and wife.

In an Instagram post last Saturday, January 26, Doug shared some secrets to a long-lasting relationship.

One is to always settle arguments in a healthy way.

He wrote, "Marriage is a beautiful thing if you just take care of it. Here's some of our 'secrets.'

"Work through your troubles and misunderstandings and never let a day pass when you argue and fight."

"16 yrs together and we have never let an argument last more than a day."

Doug noted to never play the blame game.

"Take down your pride. Say sorry first. Admit your own faults rather than pointing fingers.

"Work on what you need to do rather than trying to change your partner's attitude."

He added, "And remember, Love is more than an emotion. It's always a choice."

The basketball player also reminded other husbands like him to "date your wife."

"I love being beside you, spending time and talking to you. I pray that we always stay this way. You make my heart happy!

"I love you baby! Little things like this make me love you so much more. #RealLove"
