BINI and Sophia Laforteza of KATSEYE made waves this weekend on the Coachella 2026 stage.

Their respective sets turned the desert into a massive Pinoy party.

Dedicated Blooms flew in all the way from the Philippines to witness the historic moment in person.

Sophia, for her part, said during the show that she saw kababayans waving Philippine flags.

Whether they are Pinoys residing in the U.S. or visiting just to see the girls, their dedication is impressive.

Going to Coachella is a massive undertaking, not just in effort, but also in cost.

BINI and Sophia will perform again for Coachella’s second weekend.

If you’re planning to join the party, here’s how much you need to prepare.

HOW MUCH? going TO the u.s.

VISA PROCESSING

The first hurdle is securing a U.S. Visa.

There is a standard fee of $185, around PHP11,000 pesos, per application for a B-2 Visa for tourists.

Applicants must also spend on the preparation of the required documents like proof of income, tax payments, travel itineraries, and certificate of employment.

The U.S. Embassy in Manila recommends securing the Visa first before spending on tickets and itineraries, because the approval of the Visa is not guaranteed.

BOOKING A FLIGHT

Once your Visa is approved, you can start booking plane tickets. The prices vary wildly depending on how early you book.

If you book this weekend, the cheapest flight ticket listed on Trip.com at press time is PHP43,000 pesos via Japan Airlines.

It’s a one-way economy ticket, with transfers in Tokyo and Honolulu.

If you prefer a direct flight, the cheapest nonstop ticket is worth PHP111,200 pesos via Philippine Airlines' website.

Note that these flights are just one-way, and the return flight cost might cost even higher.

HOW MUCH? COACHELLA TICKETS

Coachella 2026 tickets are now sold out.

These three-day festival passes were originally priced at $599 for General Admission, and $1,199 for VIP, around PHP36,000 and PHP71,900, respectively.

To get passes, you can explore reseller markets like StubHub.

The resale prices now cost PHP111,000 pesos for General Admission and PHP182,000 pesos for VIP.

The three-day festival pass grants you access to all Coachella stages, including the Mojave tent, where BINI performed, and the Sahara tent, where KATSEYE held its set.

HOW MUCH? TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMMODATION

Where will you stay during the whole Coachella weekend?

You have two options.

The most cost-effective option is to set up camp inside the festival grounds. To do so, you may get Car Camping passes for $160, around PHP9,500.

You may also get ready-to-go accommodations for up to four people, for $3,000 around PHP180,000.

If you already have your own accommodation, and wish to stay outside the festival grounds instead, you need to spend on transportation passes to get inside the venue.

The Coachella Shuttle Pass, which grants you access to a shuttle that can take you to and from the festival, costs $150, around PHP9,000, for one weekend.

There’s also a Preferred Parking pass if you wish to bring your own vehicle.

This costs $299, around PHP18,000, for one weekend.

Car rentals are available at the LAX or Los Angeles International Airport, so you can drive directly to Coachella once your plane lands.

Economy car rentals can cost at least $35 a day or around PHP2,000.

HOW MUCH? FOOD AND MERCH

Now onto miscellaneous expenses, like food and souvenirs.

Coachella hosts more than100 food vendors—from food trucks, stalls and even exclusive restaurant pop-ups.

Expect to spend at least $15 per meals, around PHP900.

If you choose to go camping, you may also cook your own food using a small, outdoor propane grill.

Souvenirs, meanwhile, can take you back several dollars more.

The 2026 Lineup Poster is $20, around PHP1,200, while the official hoodie is $90 around PHP5,400.

BINI is set to light up the Mojave tent once again on April 17 (April 18, Manila time).

KATSEYE is set to return to Sahara tent for another performance on April 17, too.

Will you come over and party with them?

If you wish to prepare for it next year, assuming that you choose all the cheapest options for flight, transportation, accommodation, and tickets, prepare at least PHP200,000.

But if you already have a U.S. visa and plan to fly this coming weekend, be prepared to spend at least PHP350,000, factoring in resale ticket prices and hotel accommodations located five to ten miles from the venue, with rates starting at $600.

As the Coachella saying goes: see you in the desert!
