ICYMI: Ex-housemates Josh Ford, Ashley Ortega reunite for a kakaibang task

Summer’s not over just yet—at least not for Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition former housemates Josh Ford and Ashley Ortega.

Fresh from their stint inside Bahay Ni Kuya, the stars’ real adventure was just beginning, and it was definitely kakaiba.

The two were spotted recently at Glorietta 2 Activity Center for Grab Philippines’ Iba Ang Summer event. The campaign wants to show people that they can still make the most of summer, even if it feels like it's slipping away too fast.

The on-ground activation reimagined local travel and food discovery on a smaller scale by spotlighting exciting experiences and hidden culinary gems accessible through the super app.

Josh and Ashley joined the fun by completing a series of kakaibang tasks. Some were activities inspired by real stops from the GrabCar Travel Guide, the super app’s list of under-the-radar experiences in the country.

The duo tried their hands at painting pottery, played quirky mini golf challenges, and even battled it out in a match-up game.

Asked about his experience with the GrabCar Travel Guide’s unique activities, Josh said: “I’m so happy to know na meron ng GrabCar Travel Guide. Kasi ako, I’m a bit of a daredevil.”

“I’m a bit of an adventure guy kaya mahilig talaga ako sa mga adventures,” he added.

Aside from exploring new experiences, Josh and Ashley also indulged in local bites from GrabFood 5-Star Eats, the super app’s curated selection of top-rated, community-based restaurants and food shops.

At the event, the former housemates enjoyed treats from foodie favorites like The Kind Cookie, Mylene’s Ensaymada, and Sushi Nori.

Ashley, in particular, found GrabFood 5-Star Eats helpful, saying, “Alam mo yung feeling na, sometimes, you don’t know what to eat? With [GrabFood 5-Star Eats], makikita mo yung mga top-rated restaurants.”

“It’s already there, and you have a lot of options. I think it will be easier for me, especially [para] sa mga midnight cravings ko,” she added.
