Here’s the tea: Creativity and diskarte are key in surviving 2020 — just ask the instant chefs, plantitas/titos, and vloggers on social media. Because why feel bored when you can go overboard with your hobbies and interests and make them “trend” online?

It’s no surprise that Gen Z and millennials are the real OGs behind these gimmicks. Given their fresh outlook in life, they really can make lemonades (and memes!) out of lemons, whenever and wherever.

Here are more online pakulo that are keeping them busy these days:

1. THROWING A K-DRAMA WATCH PARTY

Let’s face it: gone are the days of walwal nights at the Fort and Poblacion — the end of an era for some.

But hey, there’s no reason to be sad because Gen Zers and millennials have discovered a new way to get together with friends (may kasamang cute oppas pa): by organizing an online K-drama watch party!

Most would even include DIY samgyup and soju and keep the party lit until three in the morning — just like the old times albeit in the safety of one’s home.

If K-dramas aren't their style, they also do movies, US or Pinoy series, or even K-pop concerts! What's important is they get to hang out with friends even while social distancing.

2. TIKTOK-ING ALL DAY, EVERY DAY

From dance crazes and challenges to parodies and recipes, TikTok is the go-to online platform for Gen Zers and millennials when they want to flex their skills, looks, quirks, or even skin-care routines.

If they want to show off the OOTD they bought online or lip-synch to a pambirit song, they'll pick a background music and a ~filter~, do random poses, and hit upload. TikTok is fun because it lets them express themselves in so many creative, wacky, and weird ways.

And with so much time to spare these days, even Gen Xers and boomers are inspired to show off their own brand of creativity on TikTok.

3. MOBILE GAMING AND STREAMING

Have you noticed that when it comes to mobile games, the younger generations are always G na G?

They have Mobile Legends, Fortnite, Call of Duty, Among Us, and Animal Crossing, to name a few. These games have kept them anything but bored amid the quarantine. And now that they have all the time in the world, Gen Z and millennials don’t settle with gaming alone.

Enter the art of streaming. While this has been done even before the lockdown started, many gamers and vloggers have entered this realm to take the gaming experience up a notch. It’s fun, interactive, and thrilling as it keeps both the players’ and the viewers’ adrenaline pumping!

There are other activities you can do to keep yourself entertained these days. Whatever it is, be sure to enjoy and live in the moment, because that’s what matters most.

G lang, basta you’re having fun — the same way you drink RC Cola!

You don’t really need a reason to enjoy a glass or two. Studying for your class? Have a glass of RC Cola. Having your merienda? Take a sip after every bite of your snack. Tamang tambay lang sa bahay? Have an ice-cold bottle as well.

May ganap man o wala, RC Cola wants you to feel good and refreshed all day, every day. Basta gusto mo, G! Watch this video:
