Lotlot de Leon has four children with her first husband Ramon Christopher—Janine, Jessica, Diego and Maxine Gutierrez—and she's proud to say none of them ever gave her any major problem.

Janine, who headlines Dragon Lady, is a competent actress; Jessica is in the corporate world; Diego is a basketball player; and the youngest, Maxine, is still in school.

Lotlot and Ramon separated when the children were still small, but both of them commendably set aside their differences to give their children a hundred-percent attention.

She was commenting about about the rampant drug problem in the country today, which destroys many young lives and often their families, too.

The conversation veered towards drugs and children because of her Magpakailanman episode, where she plays Mawi, a hapless mother who moved heaven and earth to save her daughter Erika from the clutches of a drug syndicate.

PROUD MOMMA

Lotlot was beaming when she related her only son Diego is the newest shooting guard of Quezon City Rising Stars, one of the teams in the National Basketball League.

Diego has done guest appearances in the Kapuso shows Celebrity Bluff, Eat Bulaga!, and Sarap Diva, but becoming a basketball player has been his dream and his priority now.

Lotlot just finished her stint in the serye Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko. While waiting for her next show, does she and new husband Fadi El-Soury plan to push through with their honeymoon?
"Hindi pa namin alam, kasi may natitira pa akong shooting days for On The Job 2, and si Fadi may mga inaasikaso rin siya.
"So siguro isisingit namin, kahit siguro sa isang beach sa Batangas o kung saan man."
Lotlot at Fadi got married last December 17, 2018.

She ended with a smile, "Kahit sa malapit lang, ang importante naman, yung magkasama kaming dalawa."
Meanwhile, the Magpakailanman episode that she topbills will air this Saturday, March 16.
Also in the episode are Therese Malvar; Gerald Madrid; Andrew Schimmer; Nikki Co, and Angela Evangelista.

Award-winning director Adolf Alix Jr. helms the episode, which was researched and written by Karen P. Lustica.
