Baby Ziggy is now two months old.
The second baby of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, Jose Sixto Dantes IV, is growing up fast, but the proud parents still can't quite figure out who he looks like.
Dingdong confesses, "Hindi ko masasabi iyan, e.
"Kayo ang makakapagsabi kapag nakita niyo."
Since their unica hija Zia looks like Marian, netizens predict that Ziggy will most likely take after his dad's matinee-idol looks.
He admits, "Paiba-iba, e. Parang kanina, nag-iba na naman. Oo, e. Minsan parang kamukha ng lolo niya sa Madrid.
"Yung kilay niya, sa tatay ko.
"Yung baba, sa mommy ko. Si Marian, minsan. Kamukha rin ni Zia."
At the rate Ziggy is growing up, it looks like it's just a matter of time before he outgrows his toys, and inherits his dad's much bigger toys: his prized collection of fancy cars and motorbikes.
Is he ready to pass them on to his unico hijo?
Dingdong waxes philosophical as he puts more premium on the value of the more intangible life lessons he wants to impart to his son.
He points out, "Pero yung mga materyal na bagay, materyal lang yun. Ang mahalaga, tuturuan mo silang maging mabuting tao."
MARIAN AND ZIA'S BODYGUARD FOR LIFE
If there's one thing he's thankful for, Dingdong feels assured that Marian and Zia will have their constant bodyguard for life.
"May bodyguard na ang nanay niya at ang ate niya kapag wala ako," he says.
Does Dingdong feel more complete as a dad now that he has the best of both worlds: a baby girl and baby boy?
How different has it been since Ziggy came into their lives?
"Mas may extra stroller lang na itutulak," he relates amusedly.
"Parang noong Linggo na nagda-drive ako, sanay ako na tatlo lang sila. Ngayon, apat na.
"'Tapos, may extra stroller pang itutulak. Yun ang adjustment ko."
Despite Father's Day being just around the corner, Dingdong confesses that he still doesn't have any idea as to how his family will celebrate it.
One of his fondest Father's Day memories was playing ninong to Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati's youngest son Kai.
