Dingdong Dantes swelled with pride for the good deed of his wife Marian Rivera.
In his Instagram post on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, the GMA-7 actor revealed that Marian donated "thousands of milliliters of breast milk" to The Parenting Emporium, a "social enterprise" founded by Maricel Cua and Beng Feliciano which supports and educates parents about proper parenting.
Dingdong posted their photo with Baby Zia on Instagram and wrote, "There are many things i admire about my wife, but one of them that really makes her a superwoman in my eyes is her dedication to breastfeeding.
"Being a witness to what she went through with Zia, and with what she is providing for Sixto, i know that producing that precious milk is not easy.
"And because she is blessed with this, i salute her for choosing to donate her excess expressed milk to those who need it the most.
"Thank you, Maricel, for being that angelic link that would feed infants with all these thousands of milliliters of breastmilk, which to me is gold!"
In an Instagram post, The Pareting Emporium shared that a premature baby named Mati will be one of the beneficiaries of Marian's breast-milk donation.
Their caption read, "Baby Mati will be drinking special breastmilk tonight as he tries to grow stronger so his parents can bring him home from the NICU.
"He was born too early and needs lifesaving breast milk to combat all the life-threatening conditions of a preemie.
"His mommy is still working on her supply so thankfully generous donors such as Mommy @marianrivera keep the milk flowing at our #TPEMilksharingHub
"Encouraged by her husband @dongdantes to share the abundant milk she was blessed with, Mommy Marian recounted how she worked hard as well to express her milk for baby Ziggy while her daughter watched over her baby brother.
"But now that her stash is overflowing, she felt it was the right time to share her blessings.
"Watch our IGTV channel for the full video."
The Parenting Emporium also commended Marian for following their screening process.
The post continued, "We were so happy because she willingly submitted to our screening process which follows the national guidelines of social screening and submission of HIV and Hepa blood test results.
"Then Daddy Dong made sure there was enough ice to keep the milk frozen until it reached our freezers."
In Marian's interview with Maricel posted on The Parenting Emporium's IG TV, the Kapuso actress revealed what inspired her to donate breast milk.
She narrated, "Kasi sobrang dami at alam ko na maraming nangangailangan at hindi lahat ng mommy e nakakapagproduce ng ganitong kadami.
"So gustung-gusto ko i-share yung milk ko sa nangangailangan."
It was actually her husband's idea to donate her excess breast milk.
She said, "Thankful din ako kasi sobrang 100 percent talaga yung support niya sa akin.
"'Tapos siya pa mismo nagsabi na, 'Sa sobrang dami mong milk, puwede tayong mag-donate para makatulong dun sa mga batang nangangailangan especially sa mga newborn.'"
