StarStruck Season 1 Avenger Jade Lopez-Siccion is now five months pregnant.
She proudly shared her baby bump photo on her Instagram account last Monday, November 4.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had a quick chat with Jade via Facebook Messenger.
She said, “I am currently 5½ months pregnant. I found out in July kasi delay na ako ng period, so di pa kami nag-PT [pregnancy test], alam na namin.”
Jade married her boyfriend Rocky Siccion on October 22, 2018.
Unfortunately, she had a miscarriage with their first baby.
She confided, “It was a few months after my miscarriage, so we were expecting na magkaka-baby din agad kami.
“Yung dalawang pregnancy ko, nabuo when I was doing the teleserye Bihag.”
It's not unusual that she has been experiencing morning sickness, and has been having her share of frequent cravings to date.
She said, “I had morning sickness which I never experienced during my first pregnancy na na-miscarriage.
“Sobrang takaw ko especially yung mga carbs.
“Nag-crave talaga ako rice, pasta and pizza, that's why at first, yung term of endearment namin sa baby was Baby Goto. Kasi, kain ako nang kain ng goto!
“Then, when we went to Japan, nalaman namin na Gohan ang tawag sa rice nila, that's why ngayon we call our baby na Gohan.
“I remember one time, midnight yun, nag-crave ako ng pongkan, 'tapos wala nang mabili. Hindi ako mapakali until the following day, hanggang makain ko pati yung langka na nag-crave ako nang midnight!”
Are they having a girl or a boy?
In an earlier interview with GMA News Online, Jade said she wasn't too concerned with the baby's gender.
She says, “At first I wanted a baby boy, kasi nga, wala akong kuya. Pero habang tumatagal, kahit ano basta ang importante, healthy."
The soon-to-be mom has started giving pregnancy updates to her fans and followers via her YouTube channel.
She said nonchalantly, “Pinagkakatuwaan ko ang vlogging. Subscribe kayo sa YouTube channel ko and I will be talking about my pregnancy journey.
“Ang husband ko naman ay doble or triple ang sipag niya ngayon, kasi nga, siyempre we want to give our child a brighter future.”
