As soon as Metro Manila was placed under community quarantine on March 15, Cheska Garcia gathered her daughters Kendra and Scarlett Kramer to talk about the situation at hand.
The celebrity mom wrote about this in her Instagram post: "Today I asked my kids to write a reflection on their thoughts, feelings and learnings (so far) on this pandemic crippling so many,"
"I wanted to hear it from the children. I wanted them to look deep within them and put to words all that they feel."
Kendra and Scarlett then wrote their own essays on the power of prayers in the time of the COVID-19 crisis.
The Kramer sisters both shared the sentiment that in this time of crisis, the world can heal through unity and faith.
Kendra wrote (published as it was written): "Despite of this virus families now have time to be together. No one needs to hurry to go to school, to go to work and to be too tired to talk. It is nice to see families finally come together, and realize what matters the most...
"If there is one thing that this virus is doing to people is to help us all realize we are stronger when united.
"In the end prayer is still our best weapon. Who knows what tomorrow may bring but for me my faith in God and his promises is enough."
Meanwhile, Scarlett wrote (published as it was written): "Those who experience crisis transforms to become strong, faithful, and humble people. Sometimes these events become a blessing in disguise because, people are forced to work together, get along, and believe in each other...
"I know what to do as a citizen who follows rules well, and does my part in obeying. I know that my God is bigger than any of the fear that the world has and because of this I am confident that my prayers are already heard and answered."
Admiring her daughters' works, Cheska captioned her second post: "It amazes me how my two daughters are always together but express themselves so differently.
"The same thought but their words are dissimilar. One thing is for sure though, there is evident strength in the both of them.
"Strength found in their faith and trust in the Lord."
