Jerika Ejercito prefers to be an "EQ over IQ" kind of parent, especially as she begins to guide her eldest son Isaiah through school.
For her, "Attitude takes precedence over grades at all times."
So, when Jerika received Isaiah's school report, the celebrity mother was more overjoyed to read about her son's "caring nature" in class rather than his good grades.
Isaiah’s school report read: "Isaiah has always shown his care for others. His caring nature has evolved further.
"He would make much effort in inquiring about what is causing his classmate upset and helping him/her solve his/her problem.
"During outdoor play, he noticed a classmate crying because no one was playing with him. Without even thinking twice about it, Isaiah offered his hand and said, 'Let's play, I'll play with you.'
"In the classroom, he is the first to volunteer to partner up with a classmate who does not have one.
"He is truly a compassionate and thoughtful boy."
Jerika couldn't help but "ugly cry" and feel "insanely proud" after reading the report.
She relished the thought that Isaiah already has “the biggest heart” at five years old.
The mother of four gushed, "He has the heart for the outcasts, the lonely ones.
"He feels such strong compassion and does not want anybody to be left behind.
"You are a beautiful boy my son with the purest of heart...
"Let no one dim your light, The world needs more of you."
Jerika then reiterated at the end of her post: “#EQoverIQ.”
Jerika is a mother to four boys.
Isaiah is her son with former boyfriend Bernard Palanca.
Daniel, Michael, and Moses are her sons with husband Miquel Aguilar.
