Andi Eigenmann uploaded a snippet from her life as a mother to two girls.
The part-time actress almost got mad at her daughters Ellie and Lilo because a big blot of ink stained the "best sheets."
In her Instagram caption, she wrote, "MOM LYF at it's finest.
"lol I was really upset that Lilo stained my best sheets with a marker. And that Ellie, on the other hand, let her play with her pens!
"But just as I was reminded by my partner, that it was my bad for not being as attentive as I shouldve been."
Andi contained her anger, and chose to "try and forget about it for a minute."
She cooled down by doing her "fave/ most achievable form of self care— taking a nice warm shower!"
Then as the celebrity mom took that shower, this appeared on the glass door.
"After a few seconds, I turn around and see these two making faces in the glass door GAHH.
"This is what it means to be a mom of little kids. You get no privacy whatsoever but you'll love it anyway!"
Assessing feelings first
In her Instagram story, Andi acknowledged the anger she felt after seeing what her daughters did.
But the Siargao-based actress had learned that it is best to assess one's feelings first before expressing them.
Her story read: "I usually get comments on how 'chill' I seem to be as a parent.
"I learned, long ago, how being so implusive can just cause you a lot of pain (on yourself and others).
"So it's really impt to assess your feelings first before expressing them."
Andi is a mom to eight-year-old Ellie and soon-to-be one-year-old Lilo.
Ellie is Andi's daughter with former boyfriend Jake Ejercito, while Lilo is her daughter with current partner Philmar Alipayo.
