Ruffa Gutierrez's eldest daughter Lorin is now 17 years old.
Lorin celebrated her 17th birthday last Monday, August 3, 2020.
The 46-year-old celebrity mom treated her firstborn to a beach trip for her birthday weekend at Balesin Island Club, an exclusive resort located in Lamon Bay, Quezon.
Ruffa was the first to greet Lorin on her special day.
She took to Instagram with a photo gallery of their precious mother-daughter moments and a touching message in the caption.
Ruffa wrote (published as is): "To my beautiful firstborn, Lorin...
"Here’s wishing you a birthday that is as beautiful, incredible, and unique as you are."
Although Ruffa does not see herself as a strict mom, the former beauty queen still reminded the birthday girl to "always stay focused, study hard..."
She added, "And don’t accept suitors yet. LOL [cowboy and okay emojis]
"I love you to the moon and back... xx Mommy [three heart emojis]"
A few days before Lorin's birthday, Ruffa started getting sentimental about her baby girl being all grown up.
In an Instagram post last July 24, Ruffa uploaded Lorin's photo and wrote, "My [firstborn] @loringabriella is almost 17 [heart and folded hands emoji] Time flies...."
Ruffa felt the same about her youngest daughter Venice, who will celebrate her 16th birthday on September 11.
Ruffa uploaded Venice's photo on Instagram on Wednesday, August 5, and left a short message for her daughter. She wrote, "My youngest is growing up so fast!!! @venicebektas stay little"
QUICK THROWBACK TO LORIN'S SWEET 16 PARTY
Since mass gatherings are not allowed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Lorin had an intimate birthday celebration this year.
This was in contrast to her grand Coachella-themed party for her 16th year, on August 31, 2019, at Whitespace Makati.
Celebrities who attended her birthday celebration were Andrea Brillantes, Atasha Muhlach, Julia Barretto, and Kobe Paras, among many others.
Lorin and Venice are Ruffa's daughters with her former husband, the moneyed Turkish fellow Yilmaz Bektas.
Ruffa and Yilmaz were married in 2003, but after a troubled life together went their separate ways in 2007.
Their annulment was granted in 2012.
