In her caption, the new mother tells the story behind Fiore's full name, which is Giulia Fiorentina Alessandra.
The first two names is a tribute to her great-grandparents on the paternal side of the family.
Giulia, as Assunta writes, is pronounced just like Julia. The Italian alphabet doesn't have a letter J, so it is spelled with "Gi."
The name is "a tribute to her paternal great-grandfather, Don Julio."
As for Fiorentina, the name is "a tribute to her paternal great-grandmother, Doña Florentina aka Lola Puring."
Assunta chooses the Italian spelling for Fiore's name.
The actress also posts a photo of "Lola Puring and Don Julio."
As for Alessandra, the name is indeed a tribute to her sister. It is also a homage to their "Lola Alejandra aka Inang."
Plus, Assunta likes the meaning of Alessandra, which is "defender/protector."
The celebrity mom then says, "I hope she knows how much we wanted her."
