Sheena Halili and husband Jeron Manzanero are now parents to a baby girl.
Sheena gave birth to their daughter Martina Candice on December 12, 2020, at St. Luke's Medical Center - Global City in Taguig.
Excited to become a dad since the day Sheena got pregnant, Jeron has been posting entries on Instagram, using the hashtag "How You Met Your Parents."
It's his version of the American sitcom How I Met Your Mother, where the main character narrates to his kids the story of how he met their mother.
For Jeron's latest entry, he posted their first family photo.
His caption read (published as is): "December 12, 2020 was a special day! Clear skies in the Metro. Cool Christmas breeze coming in. And there was a 12.12 Sale happening all over!
"Your mommy and I didn't get to buy anything though!
"We were busy 'checking out' from our Shopping Cart the most beautiful and precious little gift anyone could ever receive—YOU!"
At the same time, the administrator of Pasig City revealed that December 12 was a special date for Sheena. It was her late grandfather's birthday, so the new mother decided to name her daughter after him.
Jeron continued in his post: "His name was Candido Halili. He was one of your mommy's heroes—a great man who is watching over us from heaven. That's why we decided to name you after him!
"Thank you for staying strong like mommy! Whew! That pregnancy journey, up until labor and delivery is one heck of a ride! A great story to tell!
"Martina Candice, we will love you until we're wrinkly seniors that are very makukulit! But always remember, that while times may change—I will always be your daddy and you'll always be my little girl!
"And that, kid, is #HowYouMetYourParents! Love you so much!!!"
Sheena and Jeron announced that they were expecting in June 2020.
They got married the same year in February.
