Andi Eigenmann is relishing the new chapter of her life as a mom.
The now mother of three relived her recent pregnancy and birthing journey in her YouTube channel.
Andi gave birth to her son Koa on January 17, 2021.
That day, she woke up extra early to eat breakfast and to prepare for the C-section procedure.
At the hospital, it was just her and her partner Philmar Alipayo.
This gave the couple some quiet time together before meeting their newborn.
When Andi was brought into the operating room to give birth, the actress told Philmar to get her book in the drawer and open it.
Inside, Andi placed a letter for Philmar.
Days before the scheduled birth, Andi took time to write letters for her family.
In her letter to her future husband, she thanked him for the support he has been giving her.
"Thank you for always being by my side, for being my biggest support, for helping me to be strong and brave, and for inspiring me to be the best parent I can be to our kids.
"I am the happiest since you asked me to be yours forever and to be your partner in life, as we go through this experience with you.
"My kids are very lucky to you as their papa. I love you!"
This letter brought the surfing champion to tears.
Pregnancy journey highlights
Andi looked back on all the special moments that happened during her pregnancy.
Andi announced her third pregnancy in August, Philmar's birth month. It was her birthday gift to the Siargao-based surfer.
At the time, Andi was in Manila and Philmar was in Siargao. The latter stayed behind on the island to oversee the construction of their family house.
In November, the couple finally reunited in Manila.
The following month, weeks before Christmas, the family learned the gender of their soon-to-be baby.
Andi was finally going to have a baby boy.
A few days before Christmas, Andi received a surprise of her own: she got engaged.
