For Toni Gonzaga, one of the blessings of being in quarantine is the chance to be a "mom 24/7" to son Seve Soriano.

Working from home has given the ABS-CBN talent ample opportunities to witness at the outset Seve's new-found skills.

The celebrity mom eagerly shared with her audience during the Lactum 3+ Facebook Live on February 11, 2021 her latest discoveries about her four-year-old son.

She gushed, "Iyong biggest revelation, and what we really got from this whole pandemic and this whole lockdown, was Seve was able to converse with us nang straight.

"He can really carry a conversation na... Pati iyong family ko when they were able to visit na the house... nagulat sila, 'Uy, Seve can already carry a conversation.'

"Like, talk to you back and forth na talagang nag-uusap na kayo, ganyan."

According to Toni, her husband, Paul Soriano, truly made an effort to hasten the development of their son's conversational skills.

Giving credit, she said, "His dad came up with this new thing that they do every night.

"[Paul] calls it reflection time na 'What's your favorite part of the day? What did you like most about the day?'

"So before they sleep, they always do the reflection. And that really encouraged [Seve] to talk more and converse...

"Nakikita mo na ang bilis ng development. Talagang kapag natutukan sila, when you really converse with them, iyong development nila? Ang bilis."

Toni was just as amazed to see Seve's budding interest in video production.

Hardly a surprise though with Toni now doing her interview shows at home, and with Seve seeing how all that is set up.

She filled in, "What I really noticed with Seve is his interest in behind the scenes like his dad. The way he holds a camera, the way he shoots me.

"For example, like this, we're doing Zoom at home. We're doing interviews at home.

"So, he sees me do my online shows. He likes holding the camera, he likes putting up the lights.

"He likes helping the production side. That's what I noticed with him. Interested siya sa production life."

Catching herself moon about her son, Toni cleared herself and all moms from blame.

She said, amused, "I think all moms, they always think na super talented ang anak nila. I think lahat tayong mga mommies, di ba? 'Ay, he is so smart! He is so talented!'

"Kasi naririnig ko iyan lagi sa mommy ko, e. Sabi ko, 'Sobra naman ito, parang stage mom.'

"And then I realize at this stage, ganoon na rin pala ako. Parang, 'The best!' Lahat ng talent...

"May gagawin lang nang konti, 'Wow!' Build lang ng trains, 'Oh, he's an inventor!'

"Sobrang daming potential talaga nakikita mo."
