Lorin Gutierrez loves posing for her Instagram posts, and her photos have launched thousands of likes and loads of admiring comments on social media.
Sometimes, her mom would Ruffa Gutierrez would drop emojis and would sometimes comment briefly.
But this particular pose of Lorin in a two-piece black swimsuit that shows too much skin and covered only by unzippered pair of shorts got Ruffa in a “nanay mode,” as one netizen aptly put it.
She remarked what was clearly a reproach, “Nag shorts ka pa!.”
Ruffa's comment has been liked by more than 5,000 netizens, and gotten almost 300 replies—most of them saying that they could almost hear her voice.
A few said she sounded like her mom Annabelle Rama.
Ruffa had once told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a previous interview, she's always "nakabantay."
The 46-year-old mom and former beauty queen said then, “I agreed for them to be on social media, but, of course, I will check what they post.”
Meanwhile, Richard Gutierrez was also a protective tito.
His comment on his niece's swimsuit post read: “Cover yourself. I don’t want any of these guys checking you out.”
But Lorin’s close friends Sam and Angelina Cruz, daughters of Sunshine Cruz, and Frankie Pangilinan, daughter of Sharon Cuneta, all cheered the young woman who is another beauty queen in the making.
Lorin is presently in Los Angeles, California.
On April 6, 2021, Ruffa put out this send-off message, “My baby girl @loringabriella is growing up, graduating high school in June and will fly the nest to follow her dreams real soon.
