Celebrity couple Anthony Pangilinan and Maricel Laxa shared on Instagram a happy coincidence during a breakfast date with two of their grown children, .
The plan was to have separate dates, with Anthony taking their 22-year-old daughter Hanna and Maricel going to another restaurant with 23-year-old Donny.
To their suprise, as Anthony related on Instagram last Friday, January 21, 2022, they all ended up in the same restaurant.
The father-and-daughter and the mother-and-son tandems, however, took separate tables
Anthony uploaded their group photo and wrote in the caption of his post, "So, Hannah and I decided to go on a breakfast date, and Maricel and Donny decided sila na rin…
"Without us aligning, we ended up in the same place! (But we ate in separate tables [emojis]) Hahaha, 2 sets of “Mini-MEs” come together."
But there was more that Anthony wanted to say.
He advised, "Date your spouse, your kids, and your parents. One of the few practices we have held on to through the years.
"It’s not what on the table that matters. It’s who in the chairs."
Maricel also wrote about her date with Donnie in her Instagram account.
In the caption, Maricel advised other families to make time for each other.
"My date. [emojis] Connecting eye to eye, heart to heart with my twin. It’s the kind of boost that goes a long way especially these days…
"Make time for each other. Just make time. Who will you make time for this weekend? [emojis]"
The comments section of their posts was filled with compliments from their followers and their celebrity friends.

Anthony and Maricel have two other children: Ella, 25, and Benjamin, 20.
