Viy Cortez was a glowing mom-to-be in the photos from her maternity shoot she released on May 14, 2022.
Clad in a flowy see-through dress with an elaborate headdress, Viy had the people present at the shoot exclaiming, “Ang ganda!”
In her YouTube vlog, the content creator was heard, laughing, “Hindi ko alam kung pinagti-tripan niyo na lang ako.”
About her headdress, she said, “Uy, barang-barangayan na pageant.”
Most of Viy's comments in her three posts on Instagram teased her partner, Lincoln Velasquez, who is popularly known as Team Payaman's Cong TV and usually referred to as "kapitbahay."
He was in character in the photos— "ampogi" and "ang seryoso," in the words of Viy's followers,
Viy herself described him in the caption as "ganap na ganap," while YouTuber Kyo Quijano wrote, “Ang fierce naman ng kapitbahay niyo!”
Viy revealed in her YouTube vlog that Cong TV was not at first in the mood for a photoshoot.
Viy related their conversation on their way to the studio. She opened by asking where they were going and he answered sourly, “Merong tinatawag na maternity shoot…”
The mom-to-be then said, “Ba’t ang sama ng loob mo? Buti nga sinama ka.”
Cong TV became even more impatient, “Kasi anong gagawin ng kapitbahay sa [maternity shoot]?”
According to Viy, even when he was already getting dressed for the shoot, he was “nakasimangot.”
Viy appeased her partner by reminding him, “Uy, wag ka naming nakasimangot. Lahat na lang ng okasyon ng pamilya natin.”
It worked, Cong TV flashed a smile and she was ecstatic.
It turned out his “simangot” had something to do with the Roman-inspired robe he was wearing.
Viy explained she wanted Cong TV to be like “Hercules,” the Roman equivalent of the Greek divine hero Heracles who is famous for his strength.
Cong complained, “Ang hirap naming bihisan ng mga taga-Roman empire.”
He also noticed that his robe did not cover what he wanted to hide.
“Ba’t yung sa kanya [Viy] gumaganun [sa tiyan]? Sa akin sa gilid?”
And in the middle of the pictorial, the soon-to-be dad also complained, “pinupulikat.”
Nonetheless, when the camera began flashing, he gamely did the poses and his performance was "level up."
Overall, the maternity shoot made the preggy Viy happy.
In the caption of one the photos she posted, she wrote, "Handa na kami sa pagdating mo kidlat ko?"
In another post, the photo included the couple's dog cheesecake.
Viy captioned, "Malapit na tayo maging apat."
Cong TV and Viy are expecting their first child, Kidlat, in July 2022.
They announced the pregnancy on December 2, 2021, a year after Viy's miscarriage.
