Kris Bernal, who is 17 weeks pregnant, reveals her food cravings.
She says during her presscon on March 8, 2023, "It alters from time to time. Mamaya, gusto ko ng something sweet.
"And then kapag nakain ko na yung something sweet, maghahanap ako ng something salty, something sour.
"But most of the time, it's always something sour. Gusto ko ng mga sinigang, gusto ko ng may mga dipping sauce na suka, gusto ko yung mga paksiw.
"Basta more on sour yung kine-crave ko. Actually, na-surprise ako sa mangga.
"Nung may mga mommy roles ako before, parang I cannot understand bakit laging may manggang hilaw.
"Then I got pregnant, ‘Ah, oh my gosh!’ Talagang hahanapin mo pala yung manggang hilaw.
"Nagulat ako, sabi ko, ‘Bakit ako naghahanap ng manggang hilaw? HIndi naman ako kumakain ng manggang hilaw.’"
BABY NAMES
Aside from her unusual sour food cravings, Kris reveals that she has also developed a newfound love for basketball, most especially for NBA star Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks.
The Kapuso actress said she and her husband Perry Choi might even name their baby after the basketball star.
Kris tells the press, "Actually, we haven’t decided yet on names, pero may naiisip na kaming baby names for either kung lalaki or babae.
"Naglilihi kasi ako sa, ang weird, sa basketball. Nood ako nang nood ng NBA. Wala akong palya na… basta yung favorite team ko.
"It’s so weird talaga na parang I never got interested naman sa basketball."
She continued, "Kahit yung asawa ko, kapag nagbabasketball, sobrang ayoko manood.
"Pero ngayon, talagang ako pa yung nagsasabi sa kanya, ‘Ito yung oras ng game!’ Ang weird! talagang pinaglilihian ko yun!"
"Mavericks ako, e, dahil kay Doncic. Dahil sobrang idol ko si Luka at pinaglilihian ko si Luka, gusto ko may Luka yung name ng baby namin.
"Pero second name lang siguro."
